The Dynamics of Rural Society Journal is a peer-reviewed and open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Sociology at Gorontalo State University, Gorontalo, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Sociology Study Programs (APSSI). The journal aims to support and facilitate academics, researchers, and practitioners in developing, discussing, and publishing articles that explore the dynamics of rural societies worldwide.

This journal serves as a platform for disseminating high-quality, systematic research findings that address critical issues faced by rural communities globally. These issues include, but are not limited to, poverty, migration, social inequality, gender, agricultural transformation and development, sustainable development, rural development, social conflicts in rural areas, and other topics related to the dynamics of rural societies. These interconnected issues require comprehensive approaches to understand the challenges faced by rural communities.

The Dynamics of Rural Society Journal warmly welcomes contributions from academics, researchers, and practitioners from relevant disciplines. The journal encourages comparative research and studies that address rural issues within diverse cultural and geographical contexts, offering cross-national perspectives. By prioritizing novel and impactful research findings, the journal aims to deepen the understanding of global rural dynamics and contribute to the development of effective solutions to the pressing challenges faced by rural communities worldwide.
